About
I am a PhD student in Astrophysics at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA), Bangalore, India. My doctoral research focuses on the interstellar medium, with a particular emphasis on dust polarization and magnetic fields in high lattitude clouds.
Background
I completed my masters in Physics from National Institute of Technology Rourkela before joining IIA for my doctoral studies.
Research Interests
- Structure and dynamics of the interstellar medium
- Dust grain alignment theory and polarimetry
- Magnetic field morphology in molecular clouds
- Multi-wavelength observational astrophysics
- Statistical methods for polarization analysis
Beyond Research
When I am not at the telescope or writing code, I enjoy reading non-fiction books, photography and exploring the intersections of science and philosophy.
Feel free to get in touch if you would like to discuss research, potential collaborations, or anything astrophysics-related.
